Opinions, and I do have them

FINALLY! After a year and a half of the most bitter campaign, Election Day is upon us. I sit at work awaiting the results.. and hoping it isn't HIM! We'll hopefully know before long.

So... for the first time ever, I voted early. Actually I didn't know I could vote other than Election Day. I thought it was only absentee voters who could send in their ballets early. I began hearing about the 'millions' of early voters and googled my home town. Yes, I found out. I could vote early. That is what I did. Last Friday. 4th November. The line was about an hour long. I was shocked as I've never waited to vote. I asked the lady who was handing out forms if I should leave and go to my precinct on Tuesday, Election Day, to vote. Her reply was that the lines would be much worse. This election, like no other in my lifetime, is so important. I think I speak for many when I say I'm not voting FOR a candidate but AGAINST a candidate. When I've been asked who I voted for, I say, The person whose husband I loved! So now we wait. This is not a 'good' wait. I'm nervous, not knowing what the outcome is. The polls, of which there are many, very gr...

This election, which is the most vile election since I've been alive, has angered, frustrated, appalled me on so many levels. This post is about the women coming out with the sexual alligations regarding Trump. I'm not a Trump supporter yet I am sick and tired of these women and men who say Trump isn't qualified to be President because of this.  As far as running the Country, sex has NOTHING to do with anything. My hero's are President Kennedy and President Clinton. They were not known for pure behavior. I could give a rats ass as to what a President does as long as it isn't hurting the Country, and having sex outside a marriage is NOT hurting the country! (and I can only think of two Presidents who have not had affairs). My take is that it is the politicians who are concerned for their jobs that are lashing out. It is beyond the pale for women to come out and act like they are 'assulted' by a man (Trump in this case) kissing them without their pe...

And I'm not speaking of voters, but of the two Presidential candidates! I'm so over this election. I fear though, that come November 9th it won't be over.

Short and Sweet(?) If you are a "Christian" who found President Clinton's affair(s) and the Lewinsky scandal unforgivable, yet you VOTE for Donald Trump, who we know for a fact said lewd comments on women, had various affairs and continues to degrade women... I won't want to hear ANY of you EVER pass judgment on President Clinton again! If you don't see the hypocrisy in this... SHAME ON YOU!

Closing arguments.  Trump and Clinton will present their last 'duo' performance this evening. Performance is the key word. Especially for Trump. 2nd debate we saw Donald Trump stalking, bullying Hillary Clinton. Tonight he's bringing along President Obama's estranged half brother, who is for Trump. This won't be the first time I say this.  Both candidates are deplorable. As much as I loved President Clinton, I've never liked his wife! I've not changed my opinion. I don't need to hear Wikileak tapes etc to believe she has no soul, or keeps it hidden. HOWEVER! Trump is scary! VERY SCARY! I'm therefore a #NeverTrump. What a deplorable election year. Two of the most disliked people are our choice for the Presidency. I have to keep saying.... it's only four years!

I'm wondering who all watches the new series "Timeless". It is a time travel tv series with the 3rd episode airing last evening. The shows writers (at least some?) and a couple of actors tweet during the show. I really don't think I'm old, or THAT old as the saying goes, however being that last nights episode took us back to September 1962 Vegas, we were 'introduced" to Judith Campbell, JFK in shadows, Frank Sinatra singing and the Rat Pack among other things. The main focus of the show took place at the Sands Casino. Another fun memory of days gone by. Back to Twitter and the real time tweets of parts of the show by the writers/actors. They tweeted the following. "Did you know the Sands was an actual casino"? (WHAT?) Did I want to read up on Judith Campbell? (I replied to them... Exner as she has been known for decades. To put it quaintly, The producers/writers, whomever it was tweeting, surely must have been a millennial. I recall...

21 Days to the election. It is disgusting, frightening, sickening what is going on with 16 days left until the Presidential election of 2016. This is not a 'normal' Presidential election. Yes, each Presidential year is ugly in many ways, but the candidates, despite their bashing one another, are, for lack of a better word, civilized. Not this election. And you know what? I didn't realize how civilized past elections were until this one. Donald Trump! I cannot even put into words my thoughts on him. I WILL say one thing. I truly did expect him to be an intelligent man. Over time I'm hoping to put into words my thoughts over the past 16 months. What I cannot wrap my mind around is this. Trump is self imploding. A sociopath to the nth degree. I don't toss out mentally unbalanced generally, but this man, Donald Trump, has shown himself to be incapable of normal human emotions. If one is a public figure, which Donald Trump is, one knows there will be negative...

First of all, I'm WAY too late in beginning this blog site. For most of my life I've kept my thoughts and opinions to myself when it comes to life issues such as politices, which is the main issue at this moment. No longer. My way of expressing my thoughts in a more lengthy form other than 150 characters on Twitter, and never on Facebook, is to write them down. For me. For anyone who may be interested. These are *MY* opinions.... And I do have them.
